Jill Foer Hirsch is a writer, humorist, and breast cancer survivor, who documented her breast cancer experience in an online journal. Although her journal was originally intended just for her family and friends, her readership grew and the response was overwhelming. Jill heard from breast cancer survivors, cancer patients, and those whose lives had been touched by cancer that they found her unique sense of humor and positive outlook inspirational. Hoping to encourage and support a wider audience, Jill adapted the journal to become When Good Boobs Turn Bad: A Mammoir. Jill resides in the Washington, D.C., area with her husband Dan and their four spoiled cats. Her favorite things include raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens. Also, when she was more motivated she used to blog on a semi-regular basis.
